Two floorplans will be offered, ranging from around 1,800 sqft to just over 2,000 sqft, with 2-3 bed/2-3 bath and an attached 2-car garage. The neighborhood is expected to open in the fall of 2025; pricing is still TBD.
While the initial boom in South Lyon started in the late 1990s, it was reignited around 2012 and has stayed strong since. However, with so many single-family homes being built, a hole in the market emerged - condos; specifically, detached condos. In many cases, the parents of those buying/building the single-family homes wanted to move into the area to be close to kids/grandkids, but short of building their own house, not many options were available. Until this product was introduced about 10 years ago. Since then, several builders have capitalized on this demographic, offering a product similar to this one, with great success. We expect the same here. Robertson builds a beautiful home, and the demand for single-story living in the area remains high.
The South Lyon location of Blake's Cider Mill and Apple Orchard, is barely a mile up the road. Offering a delightful selection of tasty hard ciders (er, and apples, etc), we aren't telling you that this should be the main reason behind your real estate investment philosophy, but we also aren't telling you it shouldn't be the main reason behind your real estate investment philosophy.
