The condos will cover floors 26-45, with the Detroit Edition Hotel occupying the floors below the residences. Designed by SHoP Architects with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg, expect floor-to-ceiling windows and 10-foot-high ceilings, natural finishes and materials, including monolithic stone slabs and rich woods, complement contemporary kitchens with dark bronze hardware and premium appliances by Subzero, Wolf, and Cove. As of May 2026, pre-sales have begun.
This is a transformational development, that has not only changed the city's skyline, but also the commercial landscape of the downtown core, and the potential for yet unseen values for residences in the city. This development has been in the works for decades, and the early returns are showing that it has been well worth the wait. With the average unit expected to be in the 1,660 sqft range, it's anticipated that the price/sqft will be around $1,000/sqft, elevating real estate values in the City of Detroit into uncharted waters. While we don't believe occupancy will be available this year, 2027 does seem realistic.
